Dr. William Miller (Chairman, Founder)
Dr. Miller is a Herbert Hoover Professor of Public and Private Management and Computer Science Emeritus and he was Vice President and Provost of Stanford University. He is Chairman Emeritus of Borland Software Corporation. He is also President and CEO Emeritus of SRI International. He has served on the board of directors of several major companies such as Wells Fargo Bank, Varian Associates, Fireman's Fund Insurance, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Dr. Miller also played a role in the founding of the first Mayfield Fund as a special limited partner and advisor to the general partners. He received a Ph.D. in Physics from Purdue University.

Pankaj Dhingra (CEO)
Pankaj has more than 25 years of experience, including managing a technology startup and a $650 million global automotive components business. His functional experience spans finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing with Delphi, General Motors and Unisys. During his tenure at Delphi, he managed the company's automotive battery business and delivered substantial revenue and profit growth. Prior to joining Nanostellar Pankaj served as President of Ener1, Inc.'s Energy Division, an alternative energy technologies company. Pankaj has BS in Electrical Engineering from India and MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University.

Dr. Jonathan Woo (CTO, Founder)
Jonathan was Founder & President of JuniusTech in the Nano-Modeling Software industry. Previously he was VP of R&D (CTO equivalent) at ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle in 2005). He was technical leader of a high-resolution X-ray CCD spectroscopic detector development team at Harvard-Smithsonian Chandra Science Center. This team focused on the instrument characterization, modeling, calibration, and on-orbit operation of the CCD detector on board the NASA Chandra space satellite. For his research, he used advanced quantum mechanics to simulate interstellar nano-particle grains. He received a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT.

Dr. Bulent Yavuz (Vice President, Sales & Marketing)
Bulent has 20 years of experience in new business development, sales and research, all in Engelhard. Prior to joining Nanostellar, he was Engelhard's North America sales manager for its heavy duty diesel business. Over the years, Bulent held global management positions in emissions control for motorcycle, small engines, aircraft ozone and PremAir®; led teams creating more than $100 MM in new business. Earlier in his career, worked in R&D, Fulbright scholar with 9 US patens on diesel oxidation catalyst and porous ceramic substrates, Bulent obtained his bachelors degree from METU in Turkey, M.Sc from Univ. of Florida and Ph. D. from Penn State in Material Science.

Robert McDowell (Vice President, Product Management & Manufacturing)
Bob has over 25 years experience in the autocatalyst industry including stints in the R&D, manufacturing, operations, sales & marketing, process & product development, and overseas planning areas. Recently his consulting practice has been involved in diesel OEM and retrofit systems as well as with stationary emission control. Previously, he held positions at Catalytic Solutions, Inc. and at Johnson Matthey's Catalytic Systems Division where he planned the start up of new facilities North and South America, Europe, South Africa and Australia. Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University.
